This policy explains what Rallor collects when you use the Rallor app, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have.
Account details: when you sign in with Apple, Google, or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and an account ID from that provider. With Sign in with Apple you can choose to hide your email. When you sign in with email, we receive the email address you enter and send a one-time code to it.
Learning activity: lessons you finish, answers you give, code you write and run, reviews, mistakes, your daily goal, and how long the app is open each day. This is what powers your progress, reviews, and streak.
Subscription status: whether you have an active trial or subscription, the plan, and when it renews or ends. Apple processes your payment; we never see your card details.
Messages you write to the Rallor assistant or when creating a custom learning path. Your assistant conversation is saved only on your device.
Notification settings and, if you allow notifications, a push token for this device.
Feedback you send from Profile → Send Feedback or by flagging a lesson question, with the lesson, question and answer it is about, and your app version.
Crash and error reports: when the app hits an error, it sends what went wrong and where in the app, the app version, and your device model and iOS version, linked to your account ID (never your name or email). We use these only to find and fix bugs.
Basic technical data our servers need to run, such as request times and error codes.
We use this information only to run Rallor: to save your progress across devices, choose what to review and practice next, check your code, provide the assistant and custom paths, send the notifications you turned on, manage your subscription, and keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
We share information only with the services that run Rallor for us, and only what each needs:
Supabase handles sign-in and sends sign-in code emails through our email delivery provider. Apple and RevenueCat handle purchases and subscription status. Modal runs the code you submit in an isolated sandbox. Expo delivers push notifications. PostHog receives the app's crash and error reports. Our hosting and database providers store the data described above.
OpenAI powers the assistant, hints, custom paths, and system-design reviews. To answer well, it receives what you write, the lesson or problem on your screen, your code when you ask for a hint, and the parts of your progress the question needs. If you ask the assistant to search the web, your search goes through OpenAI's web search. We send these requests with OpenAI's storage option turned off.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your account and learning data from our systems, and revoke Rallor's access to your Sign in with Apple account if you used it. We keep records of subscription events, such as a purchase or renewal, for accounting and fraud prevention, and Apple and RevenueCat keep their own payment records as the law requires.
You can change your name and notification settings in Profile, turn off notifications in iOS Settings, and delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or export your information. Contact us and we will help.
Rallor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
